Justin Archote, Private Wealth Advisor and CFP®, grew up in Independence, LA and has always been interested in personal finance. His energy and excitement about the industry, as well as his passion for educating others and going above-and-beyond for his clients, led him to join the Faubourg Private Wealth family. Justin graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Business Management and remained in Hammond to earn an MBA. While in business school, he began his professional career as a full-time recruiter for the University. After grad school, Justin earned his securities licenses and served his clients as a financial advisor with Edward Jones.

His hunger for continuous improvement, both personally and professionally, is what drives him to be a better advisor and advocate for his clients. He is a voracious reader and enjoys getting his hands on anything and everything related to financial planning, taxes, and investing. Justin lives in Covington with his wife, Taylor, and their son, Lucas. When he’s not in the office, you can find him reading, listening to podcasts, going to the gym, or just cruising the Northshore, checking out new restaurants and coffee shops. But these days, most of Justin’s and Taylor’s hours are spent admiring baby Lucas as he develops and learns new things.

A word from Justin:

“I think that we are so fortunate to work in this industry. We have the ability to gain the trust of the families we work with and become a part of their financial lives. With the right advice and planning, we can impact the lives of entire families and future generations. I don’t take that lightly and I think we owe the families we serve our honesty, transparency, and commitment to continuing to find better ways to serve them. I do see advisors become complacent after working with a client for several years. I hear complaints from clients who cannot get in touch with their advisors or must wait weeks to have a phone call returned. I think many advisors are reactive instead of proactive and I think our industry has a long way to go.”
