Manolo Baca joined the Faubourg team full-time in 2018. At Faubourg he is working on portfolio analysis and is consulting with our advisors to help improve their practices.
Manolo is a native of Managua, Nicaragua. He is also a graduate of Tulane University with degrees in Finance and Economics. During his time at Tulane, he participated in the internationally acclaimed Burkenroad Reports program, the selective Aaron Selber Distressed Debt course, was President of the School of Liberal Arts Government, a leader in the Tulane Organization of Global Affairs and was selected to give a TEDx talk. At Tulane, he also won the Evelyn and William Burkenroad Award recognizing one graduating student in the business program who has an outstanding record of scholarship and personal integrity.
So far in his career, Manolo has gained extensive first-hand experience in the finance industry doing fixed income research, mergers and acquisitions, and equity research. Manolo was also featured on CGTN for his political and economic analysis.
Manolo currently resides in New Orleans, LA. His hobbies include playing tennis and soccer, learning new cooking techniques, and reading about development economics.
